In the context of the OPERAS-PRIME project, and looking forward to scaling the impact of OPERAS services, we are launching a call for ambassadors to serve the national communities.
The OPERAS Services Ambassadors should be those already involved in the national community. They will receive training and support from the OPERAS Services and the Communications team to prepare and deliver dissemination activities in their national context regarding the OPERAS services. The goal is twofold: expanding national community access to OPERAS services, while empowering the National Nodes to provide support to researchers and other stakeholders.
Incentives & recognition
Upon successful completion of the full cycle (recruitment, training, session preparation and session delivery), ambassadors will be formally added to the OPERAS Services Ambassadors Network. They will gain visibility by being featured on the OPERAS website as one of the OPERAS Services Ambassadors.
This is an opportunity for the national community to flourish and for the ambassador to be strongly connected with the Research Infrastructure and Open Science.
First recruitment: Publishing, transparency, and impact
27 April to 22 May, 2026
Services: Pathfinder, Metrics and PRISM.
Ideal candidates
Ideal candidates should be familiar with editorial processes for open scholarly publications. We welcome strong advocates for Open Science, comfortable delivering public presentations in both English and their national language, and eager to lead engaging activities for their communities. As mentioned above, candidates should also be available to participate in training and willing to prepare and deliver sessions for their national community, either online or in person.
