OPERAS-NL National Event

OPERAS-NL: Building Research Infrastructures and Communities for Open Scholarly Communications in the Humanities and Social Sciences

The OAPEN Foundation, the Core member of OPERAS in the Netherlands and OPERAS-P project partner will be holding its first national node event together with OPERAS on the 22nd of June. The aim of this national event is to bring together the Dutch scholarly community to discuss how OPERAS can help advancing the transition to Open Science in the Humanities and Social Sciences.

This online event aims to contribute to the European and national discussions regarding the uptake of open science and its support through the adoption of policies, the development of the necessary infrastructures and enhancement of synergies specifically for the Humanities and Social Sciences.

During the event, participants will be able to learn more about and participate in discussions around:

• The OPERAS Research Infrastructure, what it is, what it is not.
• Why OPERAS is important to the Netherlands.
• Experiences with OPERAS in France, and reflections on the relations to the Netherlands.
• Involvement and next steps for OPERAS.

We would like to invite you to join us for this online, open and free event, along with peers such as academic publishers, funders, policy makers, libraries, research institutions and researchers from the Netherlands.

The full programme, including speaker information and event details can be found here.

Registration here.

This event will be held in English.
